We are currently looking for experienced 7.5 tonne Drivers to join our Transport team at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery. We are looking for someone to join us who can commit to working Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You must have a clean UK C1 driving licence for this position.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering Birds’ freshly made products to our shops, as well as returning empty racks and cabinets back to the bakery. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our products reach our customers fresh and on time.
Start times are between 3:30am and 4am, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts and being on the road when the day begins.

Duties to include:
- Load / unload vehicles; manual handling of rolling equipment and no hand balling involved.
- Ensure vehicle loads are safe and secured with the appropriate restraints as per Company procedures / Safe Systems of Work.
- Perform daily vehicle defect checks and log as necessary.
Applicants will ideally have a good knowledge of the local area but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
Applicants must be of smart appearance, hold a C1 Licence, valid CPC Driver Qualification Card, Digi-Card and have a clean UK driving licence.
Hours: 42 hours per week
Rate £14.89 per hour
