Duties
- Assist with b.fast service and documentation
- Assist wit snack and shakes preparation
- Serve Tea/ coffee and cakes mid-morning
- Take food order for lunch from service users and liaise with chef for alternative options
- Ensure dining room is clean and set up between meals.
- Clean dishes after each meal.
- Support chefs and cooks with ingredient organization and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Serve dishes to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
- Help with catering setups for events or special functions
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers according to safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed
- Basic culinary experience or familiarity with meal preparation is advantageous
