Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Experience of working with specialists is beneficial, but on site training is provided
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining cleanliness and sterilization standards
- Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, updating treatment notes and appointment schedules
- Support infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety
- Communicate clearly with patients in English, offering guidance on oral health practices and post-treatment care
- Organize daily schedules, manage supplies, and ensure the clinic runs efficiently without delays
Experience
- Previous experience or training in nursing or dental assisting is essential; enthusiasm to learn and progress is key
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Knowledge of IT systems used in healthcare settings for record keeping and appointment management
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for patient care and promoting oral health awareness
