We're looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Devonport Royal Dockyard team based in Plymouth.

KierBAM are a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join our design and engineering team, where you'll be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary Works on one of the major projects ongoing in the dockyard.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll be working within the design and engineering team, supporting them in delivering temporary works across major infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:
- Co-ordinating Temporary Works between site teams and designers, managing design briefs and submissions through to client approval
- Managing Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with procedures and client requirements
- Liaising with in-house, supply chain and external design consultants to ensure implementation on site matches approved designs
- Conducting site inspections and issuing TW Permits whilst managing and coordinating Temporary Works Supervisors
- Providing practical support and mentoring to less experienced members of the temporary works team
What are we looking for?
This role of Temporary Works Coordinator is great for you if:
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a TWC on heavy civils or construction projects, preferably with experience in the nuclear sector
- You have experience of overseeing a broad range of reinforced concrete, formwork and falsework Temporary Works schemes
- You have a strong working knowledge of Temporary Works Management procedures and experience in delivering major infrastructure projects
- You hold or are working towards a degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent (BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng Tech, MICE, TIStructE)
- You have awareness of commercial processes and ideally have experience in design or engineering management
