R S Skips Ltd is an established skip hire & waste management company based in Shorne, Kent.
We are seeking to employ an experienced Admin Assistant to join our friendly team. Experience in the waste/skip hire or transport/haulage industry is required.
Job Description
· Processing orders via email, phone, and online
· Scheduling and organising driver sheets
· General admin work
Responsibilities
· Processing orders via email, phone and online
· Allocating jobs to drivers
· Applying for skip road licenses
· Keeping social media up to date – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
· Keep the vehicle and drivers’ data up to date
· Other Admin Duties
Requirements & Skills

· Can work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced condition

· Able to work independently
· Able to work well in a team, share responsibilities, communicate well, and offer assistance to other members of staff when required
· Have knowledge of the use of social media
· Basic computer skills required: Microsoft, Outlook etc
Experience preferred but not compulsory, in the waste, skip hire, haulage, or transport industry. Training will be provided on our bespoke transport software.
Must drive due to the office location in Shorne. There is no public transport available in the area.
Full Time: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
