Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baby Swimming Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to infants and young children, fostering confidence and water safety skills from an early age. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping children develop essential life skills through the enjoyment of swimming.
Our Summer Term will run from Friday 24th July - Friday 28th August (inclusive) from 10am-12pm. Classes will run in 30-minute blocks.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate swimming lessons tailored to infants and toddlers
- Ensure the safety of all participants during sessions by adhering to strict safety protocols
- Create a fun, encouraging, and positive learning environment to promote confidence in water
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the swimming area before and after lessons
- Assist with organising class schedules and managing bookings
- Promote water safety awareness among parents and children during lessons
Qualifications
*Required*
- Level 2 baby & toddlers swim teaching qualification
- Previous swim teaching experience, preferably with young children or infants
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Passion for working with children and promoting water safety
- Ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for learners of all abilities
- A caring attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners
