Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team and assist oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, food service, and team supervision, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Assist to manage staff schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
- Assist monitoring inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of food production, preparation, and serving techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as food preparation or cooking is advantageous
- Experience working in hotel or barista environments is considered a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer service issues professionally and efficiently
