Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Prior delivery driver experience and a valid <PERSON> driver licence are highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to complete multiple drop-offs across various locations within scheduled timeframes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Assist with warehouse duties such as organising stock or loading goods when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid <PERSON> driver licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, including handling bulky or heavy items safely
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
- Experience working in warehouse environments or handling logistics is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
