Experienced CNC Laser operator and programmer / setter in a manufacturing environment. Will be responsible for programming and operating Fibre Laser (Bystronic), maximising material usage and preparing cut parts ready for the next stage of the manufacturing process. As part of the recruitment process applicant may be required to attend a trial session to demonstrate experience.

Key Responsibilities.
· Programming & nesting parts using Radan
· Operating and maintaining Bystronic CNC fibre laser
· Operating and maintaining LVD CNC turret punch
· Deburring and sanding cut parts
· Loading and unloading materials
· Monitoring and reporting / recording stock levels of materials
· Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work space
· Working with production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines
Essential Experience & Skills
· Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating CNC Fibre Laser machines (preferably Bystronic) and CNC Turret Punch (preferably LVD) – experience in one or the other would be considered.
· Proven experience programming using Radan – experience on alternative programming software would be considered
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong time management and organisational skills
Desirable Skills (not essential)
· Experience using AutoCAD (or equivalent)
· License to operate counterbalance forklift
· Experience within a production environment
- Experience: At least 2 years proven experience.
- Trial required which will involve using machines alone to show experience.
Working hours: 40hrs a week, Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am-1:30pm (overtime when available).
Up to £17.50 per hour depending on experience.
Experience essential, no training will be given.
