We're relaunching Cabo, bringing a fresh new identity, bold contemporary Latin American flavours and a completely refreshed dining experience to Edinburgh.
We're looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen and help shape the next chapter of the restaurant. This is an opportunity to build a team, influence the menu and play a key role in creating one of Edinburgh's standout dining destinations.
Our food is all about fresh ingredients, bold flavours and cooking everything with pride from scratch.
Your Role
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team.
- Deliver exceptional fresh food with consistency.
- Recruit, train and develop your brigade.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness and food safety.
- Manage ordering, stock control, food GP and labour.
- Work alongside senior management on menu development and seasonal specials.
- Create a positive, high-performing kitchen culture.
About You
- Experienced Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready for your first Head Chef role.
- Passionate about fresh, from-scratch cooking.
- A natural leader who develops people.
- Commercially aware with strong GP and stock management experience.
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
- Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to lead a restaurant relaunch.
