Pay: £44,952 Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings

About FJL Waste Services
FJL Waste Services is a growing waste and recycling specialist operating a modern fleet of dustcarts, skip vehicles, and Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo) vehicles across London and the South East.
Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Uxbridge.
This is a single-manned role, ideal for drivers who enjoy working independently, taking responsibility for their route, and delivering excellent service to our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally.
- Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Using onboard technology to manage routes and job completion.
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with all transport legislation.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Working safely in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication skills and fluent spoken English.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR or IN10 endorsements).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience required
Desirable:
- Waste management, recycling, skip, RoRo, or commercial collections experience.
- Experience using onboard vehicle technology.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- Saturday Rota
- Start times between 04:00.
