Flooring Estimator/Client Support Project Manager (vinyl, cap and cove)
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, detail‑driven Flooring Estimator/Client Support Project Manager (vinyl, cap and cove) to oversee flooring installations from survey through to final handover. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and knows how to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple flooring projects simultaneously, from start to completion
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and identify any issues
- Organise programme of works, order materials, instruct subcontractors/installation teams
- Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and RAMS
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, be responsive to all emails
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally
- Extra hours may be required at times to meet project deadlines and the needs of the business.
Qualifications
A minimum of one year of flooring industry experience is required
- Proven experience in commercial flooring project management
- Strong knowledge of flooring materials and substrate preparation
- Good IT skills
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to job sites
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
