Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet each client’s unique requirements and preferences
- Coordinate schedules and allocate resources efficiently to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance, training, and leadership to maintain high standards of care
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure clarity and positive relationships
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize well-being
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems for documentation of care activities, assessments, and updates
- Drive company vehicles when necessary to visit clients or attend meetings outside the office
Skills
- Strong driving skills with a valid license for transportation needs within the community
- Experience working in a care home or senior care setting with supervisory responsibilities
- Proven leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of care professionals
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop, review, and update detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping, scheduling, and reporting purposes
- Supervising experience in a healthcare or social care environment is highly desirable
