Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Credit Controller & Purchase Ledger Manager to oversee the company's credit control processes and manage the purchase ledger. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records.Experience with various accounting software and strong analysis skills are essential to excel in this role especially Sage 50 professional. Duties
- Manage and monitor the company’s credit control procedures to ensure timely collecton of outstanding debts.
- Oversee the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciling accounts using accounting software.
- Maintain accurate data entry of financial transactions related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular analysis of debtor reports to identify overdue accounts and implement appropriate collection strategies.
- Liaise with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Support human resources activities related to finance personnel as required, including documentation and record keeping.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, preparing reports on outstanding balances and cash flow forecasts.
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software including Sage 50
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting financial data and identifying trends or issues.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and credit control procedures.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
