We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at the Delmont Hotel.

This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive role where getting the job done properly is just as important as getting it done on time. Our bedrooms and public areas must be maintained to an extremely high standard at all times.
The Role
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas are spotlessly clean, well-presented and ready for our guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning guest bedrooms to an exceptionally high standard.
- Completing departure rooms within strict time scales and to the required standard.
- Making beds using the correct linen to ensure they look crisp, sharp and professionally presented.
- Carrying out thorough deep cleans of bedrooms, including moving furniture to clean under, behind and around furniture.
- Completing both high-level and low-level cleaning.
- Deep cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, baths, tiles and floors.
- Using cleaning machinery and equipment, including carpet cleaning equipment, where required.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is kept clean, maintained, organised and stored correctly.
- Counting and checking incoming laundry.
- Putting laundry deliveries away correctly and maintaining an organised laundry area.
- Receiving stock and putting deliveries away in the correct locations.
- Keeping all stock cupboards and storage areas clean, neat, tidy and organised at all times.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas, including the bar, restaurant, public toilets, function room, entrance and reception areas.
- Cleaning and maintaining the garden areas and patio.
- Keeping all stairs, landings and hallways clean and presentable.
- Identifying areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance and reporting them to management.
- Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently and use your own initiative.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with proven housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, ideally within a hotel or similarly fast-paced environment.
You will need to:

- Be highly organised and methodical.
- Have a good understanding of professional cleaning standards.
- Be physically capable of carrying out the duties required, including moving furniture and using cleaning machinery.
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well as part of a team.
- Be able to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.
- Understand that cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail are absolutely essential in a hotel environment.
