We're an established, fun, energetic Managed Service Provider. We indulge in providing outrageously great support to our clients, and we've got a post open for a like-minded IT genius to take technical ownership of our client estates — design, projects, and the escalations nobody else can crack.
What you'll actually need
Minimum five years in an MSP or similarly varied environment, with real depth in:
- Microsoft 365 — Intune (compliance, Autopilot, app deployment), Conditional Access, Defender, Exchange Online mail flow, Entra ID. We mean building and hardening tenants, not creating accounts.
- Azure — VMs, networking, backup, identity, hybrid join.
- Networking — Meraki and Ubiquiti/UniFi, firewalls, switching, VLAN design and segmentation, VPN, wireless.
- Windows Server — AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and migrating away from them.
- Endpoints — Windows and macOS in a managed environment.
Cyber Essentials, backup/DR platforms and solid documentation habits are all a bonus.
The day to day
A mix of project work — collaboratively or solo — escalated support, proactive improvement, and client site visits. Remote tools and real conversations with clients to fix things properly and fast.
You'll also be the technical backstop for the wider team: taking their escalations, helping them work through the problems they're stuck on, and passing on what you know. We want someone who lifts the standard of everyone around them, not someone who hoards the interesting tickets.
You'll need a full UK driving licence and your own transport, and to be commutable to Hemel Hempstead. We work 8-5 or 9-6; we're looking for someone to cover 9-6 initially.
