Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team Advanced, Preferably with a HGV license. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This job is on a self employed basis and good rates of pay. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient access for workers at heights and challenging locations, supporting the successful completion of diverse projects. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project specifications and safety standards
- Inspect scaffolding regularly for stability, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan scaffold layouts that optimize accessibility and safety
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components
- Ensure all scaffolding work adheres to health and safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of scaffold inspections, modifications, and safety checks
Skills
- Proven experience in scaffolding with a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools required for scaffold assembly and disassembly
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with clear communication abilities
