Sports Bar Manager – Engine Room

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of the Engine Room and make it thrive:

Creating a buzzing, high-energy sports bar experience – from match days to midweek trade

Driving sales, footfall and repeat business through smart thinking and great delivery

Building a calendar of live sport, music, quizzes, and themed events that people talk about

Working with marketing to promote events and grow your audience

Spotting opportunities to increase revenue and treating the venue like your own business

Leading and developing a team who bring the atmosphere to life

Being a visible, hands-on presence greeting regulars, building relationships, and setting the tone

Ensuring high standards across service, safety, and the overall customer experience
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be someone who brings energy, ideas, and commercial focus:

A natural host confident, friendly, and great with people

Someone who genuinely loves sport, live events, and hospitality

Experience running or supporting a busy bar or venue with a focus on driving sales

A creative thinker who can develop events that keep customers coming back

Strong commercial awareness you understand how to turn atmosphere into revenue

A leader who inspires their team and creates a fun, motivated environment

Organised, driven, and hands-on happy to lead from the front
