Overview
We're looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help us grow our care services by securing new care packages and developing long-term partnerships across the health and social care sector.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Care Worker to provide personalised support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role involves offering practical help, emotional support, and companionship to enhance the quality of life for clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Previous experience in care settings or home care is preferred, along with a valid driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring all needs are met with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition
- Liaise effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other relevant parties to ensure coordinated care
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both clients and yourself
- Assist with light household tasks to support independence within the home setting
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively
- Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation needs
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to different situations with empathy and professionalism
