If you have experience crafting custom car interiors, or if you come from a marine trimming background working on boat covers and seating, your sharp eye for detail will fit right in here. We value great hands-on craft skills above all else.
Duties
- Create and restore custom car seats, headliners, door panels, and carpets.
- Work with various materials like leather, vinyl, Alcantara, and specialized marine fabrics.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and cutting tools with high precision.
- Fit and install finished trim components neatly into vehicles.
- Inspect your work to make sure it meets our high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the job process.
Skills
- Proven experience as an automotive trimmer, auto upholsterer, or marine trimmer.
- Strong ability to read patterns, measure accurately, and cut materials clean.
- Confidence using industrial sewing machines and hand tools.
- A strong eye for detail and high standards of finish.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new vehicle types.
