Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area, while assisting your fellow staff to perfect customer experiences. Naturally, we will go through with you our signature cocktail recipes, but we expect you to have familiarity with basic cocktails. As as independent business, we often run private parties and are known for our creative and innovative cocktails.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces and handling the glass wash machine.
- Restocking throughout the night and at the ends of shifts.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic maths for drink measurements.
- Understanding of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with exceptional hospitality skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
