We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Roofer with proven expertise across all aspects of pitched and flat roofing. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality workmanship on domestic and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of pitched and flat roofing systems
- Tiling and slating (all common materials)
- Installation of felt, batten, and breathable membrane systems
- Leadwork including flashings, valleys, step flashings, and lead detailing
- Installation and repair of EPDM and rubber roofing systems
- UPVC installations, including fascias, soffits, and guttering
- Chimney repairs, repointing, flashing, and leadwork
- Repair and replacement of verges, ridge tiles, hips, and valleys
- Diagnosis and repair of leaks and roofing defects
- Ensuring all work meets current building regulations and health & safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Communicating effectively with customers and site supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience as a roofer covering both pitched and flat roofs
- Strong knowledge of tiling, slating, felt, batten, leadwork, EPDM, and rubber roofs
- Experience with UPVC roofing components
- Confident carrying out chimney, ridge, and verge repairs
- Ability to work at height and in varying weather conditions
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
