About the role:
The School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Lancashire is seeking to appoint a Professor of Restorative Dentistry to join our growing clinical academic community.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of postgraduate restorative dental education within a School that is investing in innovation, expanding its specialist portfolio and developing internationally recognised clinical and academic excellence. As Professor of Restorative Dentistry, you will provide strategic leadership across our postgraduate programmes in Endodontology, Prosthodontics, Periodontology and Implantology, while helping to shape the next generation of specialist clinicians.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will influence curriculum development, clinical education, research strategy and external partnerships. You will also have the opportunity to develop new educational initiatives, strengthen research collaborations and enhance the School's national and international reputation.

About you:
We are looking for an exceptional academic and clinician with a Full and current GDC registration as a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry. You must have a clinical qualification indicating restorative specialism in clinical dentistry, a PhD or equivalent, and a formal teaching qualification or willingness to undertake within 2 years of appointment.
You will have comprehensive experience as a restorative dentist specialist, including having restorative consultant post experience and excellent proven leadership skills.
