The Short Stay Family
The Short Stay Family is a fast paced family run business based in St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife, serving over 350 properties. We manage a diverse portfolio, including long term lets, short holiday lets and student accommodation. Each client and guest is valued equally and we strive to deliver the highest quality of service and experience to all.

About the Role
No two days are the same in this fast-paced and varied role. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the day-to-day operations of our holiday let business.
You will work closely with our operations and cleaning teams to help ensure our properties are fully prepared for guest arrivals and maintained to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Linen delivery and collection
- Waste and recycling management
- Basic gardening and outdoor maintenance
- Supporting cleaning and operations teams with daily tasks
- Assisting with property preparation for guest arrivals
- Supporting property renovation and maintenance projects when required
- Carrying out additional operational duties as needed throughout the working day
As part of the role, you will also participate in our out-of-hours On-Call Rota, assisting guests with urgent issues during their stay, such as:
- Heating or hot water problems
- Key box access issues
- Power outages
- General maintenance emergencies
Additional compensation is provided for on-call duties.

- Trustworthy and dependable
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Practical and hands-on with good problem-solving skills
Due to the nature of the business, Sunday working is required.
