Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Holiday Club Leader to oversee engaging activities for children during school holidays. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, possess excellent organisational skills, and enjoy creating fun and educational experiences for young learners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead children’s programmes, foster a safe environment, and inspire a love of learning through various activities. Fluency in English is essential, with additional proficiency in French being highly desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation arrangements for outings and activities. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working with children in a lively, supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and lead a variety of fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities for children during holiday periods
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and social interaction among children
- Assist with the organisation of outings, trips, and special events, including transportation arrangements where necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding programme details and children's progress
- Maintain a clean and organised activity area, ensuring all equipment and materials are safe and suitable for use
- Support the development of children's skills through engaging teaching methods and nurturing guidance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure programme objectives are met efficiently
Qualifications
- Prior experience in childcare, nannying, teaching, or similar roles is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an advantage
- Valid driving licence preferred to facilitate transportation duties
- Passionate about working with children and creating positive experiences during school holidays
- Ability to work flexibly during holiday periods, including mornings, afternoons, or full days as required
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
