Deputy Manager - Godiva Lodge, Coventry
Salary: £34,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the home and the business.

Based at Godiva Lodge in Binley, Coventry, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of Anchor's highly regarded care homes. Conveniently located with excellent transport links, the home is easily accessible from Coventry city centre, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth and the surrounding Warwickshire areas, with free on-site parking available for colleagues. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the home.

In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care in a safe, welcoming and compassionate environment. You'll lead, motivate and develop the care team, oversee staffing and rotas, monitor care quality through audits and inspections, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and champion best practice in safeguarding and resident wellbeing. You'll also deputise for the Home Manager in their absence and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the service.
We're looking for someone who is:
- An experienced Team Leader looking to progress, or an existing Deputy Home Manager.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care for older people.
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding, CQC regulations and quality standards.
- A confident leader who can inspire, coach and support colleagues.
- Organised, customer-focused and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent management qualification).
