- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using POS systems, providing correct change and receipts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent overconsumption
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and assist with setting up or closing down the bar as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy weekend shifts
