We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Provide a welcoming and assuring presence
- Deter unwanted conduct including ASB
- Work with British Transport Police
- Prepare logs of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.

The working hours are:
Fridays 17:00-23:00
Saturdays 18:30-00:30
Each weekend, plus additional work can be picked up across the business in this area.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.50 per hour
