Maintenance & Grounds Person

We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Person to help maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a passionate team and play a key role in ensuring our beautiful property is always presented at its very best.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, and presentation of the building, guest rooms and surrounding grounds. You will also coordinate and liaise with contractors when specialist work is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
* Maintain the grounds and outdoor areas to a high standard.
* Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Respond promptly to maintenance issues as they arise.
* Liaise withexternal contractors when necessary.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety standards.
* Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property for our guests and team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is self-motivated, organised, and takes pride in their work.
* Has experience across a broad range of building and property maintenance tasks.
* Can work independently while communicating effectively with the wider team.
* Has a practical, can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards.
Hours
The role is ideally Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, although we are happy to offer flexibility for the right individual.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
