Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using efficient serving techniques
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking smoothly
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding food presentation and preparation processes
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist guests confidently
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and upselling opportunities
Pay: £8.00-£12.75 per hour
