Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up work zones
- Support skilled tradespeople by transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the site
- Help with excavation activities, digging trenches, and laying foundations as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas
- Support site supervisors in completing routine inspections and reporting any hazards or issues
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or manual labour is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards safety and learning
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
- Reliable with good time management skills and punctuality
