Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively during busy schedules. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on punctuality and professionalism. Van can be provided however own van will be accepted as long as it meets the following requirements; not excessively damaged, van is white, must not be older than 6 years (20plate maximum age) and at least an L3 in size.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle and adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
- Confirm deliveries with recipients, obtaining proof of delivery as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or unforeseen delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role is desirable but not essential (training is provided)
- Valid <PERSON> driver licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and handling heavy loads is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, throughout the shift.
- Prior experience in driving within urban or rural settings will be considered an asset.
