Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Transport Planning Support and Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. You'll work closely with management and logistics teams to optimize routes, monitor shipments, and maintain accurate records, all while fostering excellent communication and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the transport planning team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle movements.
- Prepare and issue driver paperwork (scrap notes / delivery paperwork where required).
- Update transport management systems (TMS) with all correct data for deliveries.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve queries.
- Assist with booking transport services and confirming schedules.
- File and archive transport documents in line with company policy.
- Support audits and compliance checks by providing required documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of transport admin processes.
Key Tasks:
- Input delivery and collection details into the TMS.
- Track vehicle locations and update stakeholders on ETAs.
- Communicate with hauliers and subcontractors regarding bookings and paperwork.
- Provide accurate quotations for existing and current customers.
- Maintain the traffic and POD inbox, including assisting when required with the PODs for the customer.
- Speak with drivers to ensure they are all running on time and charge were need for demurrage following the SOPs of the business.
- This list is not exhaustive but includes all reasonable requests from your Line Manager and Senior Management.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
