Driver / Yard Operative / General Labourer.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Yard Operative / General Labourer to join our growing construction company based in Guildford.
This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the yard and on construction sites.
Duties include:
- Driving a 3.5-tonne company van.
- Delivering and collecting materials from suppliers and sites.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Assisting site teams with general labouring duties when required.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous experience in construction or a builders' merchant is preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to carry out manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own initiative.
- Forklift licence or CSCS card would be an advantage but is not essential.
