Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness in our house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and owners. Previous hotel cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an opportunity to work in a homely setting with a focus on attention to detail and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, bed making and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces according to health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
