Are you passionate about working with children and families? Do you want to make a meaningful difference every day? We’re looking for kind, motivated and resilient individuals to join our warm, Nurse-led Children’s Service at Dougie Mac.
In this unique role, you’ll provide compassionate care and emotional support to children and young people with complex or life-limiting conditions. Every day is different – from playtime and creative activities to supporting health needs and building precious memories with families in a home-from-home environment.
What you'll do:

Support children and families in line with individual care plans

Work closely with registered nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Use creativity and play to engage children in meaningful experiences

Communicate sensitively with families, colleagues and professionals

Be part of a supportive team that puts children at the heart of everything
What you’ll need:
? Experience working with children and families
? NVQ Level 2 in care (or equivalent)
? Excellent communication and teamwork skills
? A calm, positive and compassionate approach
? Flexibility to work shifts across a 24-hour service
? A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Desirable)

Salary: £24,852.66 FTE per annum + anti social pay
Hours: 22.5, 30 & 37.5 hour a week contracts available
You will work flexibly over a 7 day period; this will include early, late & night shifts as we operate a 24/7 service. We are recruiting both part and full time positions.
