RECEPTIONIST / SALON ASSISTANT – TANNING SALON
Are you confident, friendly, organised and a bit of a multi-tasking Ninja?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist / Salon Assistant to join our team in our busy tanning salon.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same! You’ll be the friendly face of the salon, making sure our clients receive a warm, welcoming and professional experience every time they visit.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and looking after clients with a friendly, professional attitude
- Answering calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Booking appointments and using our computer system
- Promoting our products, services and memberships
- Providing excellent customer service and achieving sales
- Keeping the salon spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard
- Preparing treatment areas and ensuring everything is ready for clients
- Handling payments and general reception duties
- Working independently and confidently when you are the only team member on shift
- Supporting your colleagues and being a positive part of the wider team
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and approachable
- Friendly with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, committed and hardworking
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Comfortable talking to customers and not afraid of sales
- Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Computer confident and able to learn new systems
- Naturally clean, tidy and takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Positive, energetic and enjoys working with people
The role
Although you’ll be part of a fantastic team, you’ll also be a lone worker, so confidence, independence and responsibility are essential.
If you’re someone who can welcome a customer with a smile, answer the phone, make a sale, clean the salon, use the computer and somehow keep everything running smoothly — all at the same time… you might just be our next Multi-Tasking Ninja!

Pay: £10.85-£39,490.06 per hour
