Marpol Security are seeking a dedicated Security Installations Operative to join our team in the South of the UK. This role is vital in implementing and maintaining advanced security systems that protect our clients' assets. Based in South of the UK, you will play a key part in upholding our company's mission of excellence in security services. The role requires hands on experience, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently on residential and commercial sites. Due to the nature of the work, this position requires flexibility to work late afternoons, evenings and occasional extended hours including working away to meet project deadlines and client security requirements.
Training will be provided and you must be available to travel to the company HQ based in Warrington, Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and remove steel security systems, temporary alarm solutions, and temporary fencing at customer sites across the South of the UK.
- Provide training and ongoing support to new team members on steel security installation procedures and best practices.
- Complete and maintain accurate job documentation and assist with administrative tasks related to project delivery.
- Communicate professionally with customers, responding promptly to enquiries, service requests, and operational queries.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of workmanship at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment, reporting defects or issues as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe depot environment, ensuring compliance with company safety standards.
- Carry out site surveys and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure safe project execution.
- Liaise effectively with subcontractors and site personnel to coordinate works and ensure projects are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule.
