We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Part Time Weekend Waiter to help in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Coordinate table assignments and manage reservations to optimise seating efficiency
- Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of orders
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing informed recommendations to guests
- Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required, maintaining seamless communication between front and back of house
- Handle guest enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and report generation
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment aligned with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, ideally with prior supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Experience working in kitchens or culinary environments is advantageous
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively while maintaining high service standards
- Time management skills to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and maximise revenue
