Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to help oversee daily operations within our new coffee & cocktail bar. We're really excited to open a fun & exciting spot with a real "speak-easy" vibe. Record listening and regular DJs are on the cards alongside a variety of exciting events!
The ideal candidate will have strong experience behind the bar and a passion for all things hospitality, coffee & cocktails. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee fun weekend shifts, delivering exceptional coffee, cocktails and an unforgettable customer experience to everyone who walks in the door. The successful applicant will be responsible for day to day operations alongside the general manager.
Duties
- Serve high quality coffees, drinks and cocktails to customers
- Open & close the bar respectively as a keyholder
- Supervise and help any staff members behind the bar with training and questions
- Provide excellent service and product knowledge to all customers
- Help in managing stock levels and ordering when required
- Prepare and store cocktail ingredients correctly
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a bar or restaurant
- Strong cocktail experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Barista experience desirable
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Motivated to learn and develop skills
- Friendly & positive attitude- and most of all, eager to have fun
Pay: £13.50 per hour
