Job Description: Procurement Coordinator
Reporting to: Commercial Manager
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (can be flexible)
Location: Tonbridge, Kent, TN12 6RR
Westmount Packaging is looking for a commercially-minded Procurement Controller to take ownership of our day-to-day purchasing and stock planning activities while helping transform the way we work.
You will manage stock planning within a monthly budget, purchase orders, supplier liaison, goods-in scheduling, preventing stock-outs and keeping ERP data updated, ensuring excellent product availability and customer service.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in a similar procurement, purchasing or supply chain role, who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident using ERP systems, Excel and AI tools. You should enjoy improving processes rather than simply following them.
A key objective is to reduce the time spent on routine stock planning and ordering by 40–50% within your first six months through process improvement, automation and effective use of AI, while maintaining or improving service levels. As capacity is created, the role will expand into more strategic buying, supplier development and commercial improvement projects.

- Strong communication and supplier relationship skills
- Ambitious, driven and keen to develop your career
- CIPS Level 3 qualification - or working towards it

- Salary: £32,000-34,000 depending on experience
