Duties
- Perform various manual labour tasks related to ground maintenance and construction projects
- Assist with the installation and repair of underground utilities, such as water and sewer lines
- Operate and maintain equipment, such as shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and power tools
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil to ensure proper installation
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work sites
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- 3 years experience in similar role
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Some work maybe out of town, but pay will reflect this.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
- There will be opportunity to progress within the company for the right candidate
- Valid driver's licence and CSCS card essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
