Sector: Music / Video
Salary: Dependant on experience
The Role:
Our client is looking for someone who has about 2 years’ experience in an agency, post house or production company and who is keen to become further involved in the world of post-production. This is a junior - mid level role, with the post holder joining the post-production team to help with day-to-day operations, to have ownership over audio adverts and to work with the production assistant on maintaining their social media.
Applicants must possess a clear technical understanding of post-production and must not be afraid to flag it, if they spot something that doesn’t look right. They must also have a very strong interest in music and music content.
The Post-production Co-ordinator will play a key role within the team, supporting the smooth running of post-production across label and internal projects. Through this, they will have the opportunity to shape the future of post-production at the company.
Working closely with the Head of Post, the successful candidate will help manage workflows, schedules and delivery across a small team of editors. They will be required to combine strong organisational skills with technical understanding of post-production processes, ensuring that projects move efficiently from ingest through to delivery and archive.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is excited to develop a career in post-production management and operations. Please note that although some minor editing or exporting will be necessary from time to time, this is not an editing role.
A passion for music and music culture is essential, as the work directly supports artists, campaigns and the label’s creative output. As the music industry is very reactive, the ideal candidate will be flexible and happy to occasionally find themselves working a little outside their comfort zone.
