We currently have 1 vacancy for Print Finisher to join and strengthen our Print Finishing Department. We are seeking someone that is conscientious with excellent finishing skills.
ESP Colour Digital is a fast-paced environment, we work hard to achieve tight deadlines and to impress customers with our high quality and fast turnarounds.
This role involves all areas of make ready, running the machines efficiently and effectively, to achieve KPI`s set within our MIS.
You will have a passion for all things finishing, an ability to think outside the box and problem solve where necessary, a get the job done attitude is highly sought after. Being part of the team is key with the flexibility to learn more.
The role requires responsibility for running various machines and finishing equipment including:
- Polar guillotines
- Horizon Stitchline
- Duplo Saddle booklet making
- Heidelberg 52 / Multigraf Folders
- Horizon PUR binder
- Foliant Laminator
- Mitacase Case Maker
- Renz InLine 500 Wirobinder / Calendar Binder
Requirements for the Role
- To be able to ‘run one of the above machines or equivalent machines
- A passion for print finishing with an excellent can-do attitude
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of printing and finishing
- Must be flexible and open to change
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- Maintain excellent quality throughout production process
- A good understanding of all production processes
- To be able to read and understand ‘Job Bag’ information
- Positive attitude towards learning and new equipment
- Monitor and maintain quality of work produced to high standard
- Maintain a good standard of tidiness and order, especially during busy periods
The role would be working night or double day shift’s.
Nights: Sunday-Wednesday – 36hrs
Double days: Monday-Friday – 40hrs
