Position Overview: We are seeking a chef with a passion for delicious food, a strong attention to detail and previous experience. Your hours will be split between our brunch section in the bakery and upstairs in the restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. You must be available to work 30 hours a week with the possibility of it increasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items whilst communicating effectively with front of house
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent product quality
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient ordering
- Ensure all orders are produced in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a chef in a professional setting is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for tasty food and high-quality products
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
