Overview
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team due to expansion of our paint shops. Working in a new wetback spray booth complete with a conveyor system the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to various metal components using a airless paint system. The Spray Painter must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, sanding, prior to sealing, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint finish.
- Read production schedule to ensure correct paint is selected for finishing products.
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools to apply coatings efficiently and evenly across various products.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the painting process to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly while adhering to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial painting, or industrial painting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, relevant to surface preparation and finishing.
- Ability to operate airless paint sprayers confidently and safely; experience with maintenance of spray equipment.
- Ability to adhere to health and safety procedures.

Pay: £28,496.00-£31,824.00 per year
