Key responsibilities include planning optimal routes, loading and unloading goods, conducting routine vehicle inspections, and providing excellent customer service. They must maintain a clean driving record and follow all road regulations.
Core Responsibilities
Operating vehicles safely.
Planning routes and schedules while accounting for traffic and weather delays.
Loading, securing, and unloading deliveries.
Communicating with dispatchers and clients.
Completing delivery paperwork.
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring routine safety checks.
Requirements and Qualifications
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS devices.
Physical stamina to load/unload heavy items or walk long distances.
Excellent time management and customer service skills
Pay: £28,100.00 per year
