The Opportunity
In this role, you will research, design and on occasions deliver bespoke tools, concepts or principles in line with the requirements of the identified stakeholders. You will need to pro-actively establish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure achieved outcomes are realised.
You will undertake Organisational Development projects, which will require developed interpretation and analysis skills, to deliver solutions which could cover a complex range of issues, which does require advanced communication skills.
About you
Some of the key skills, experience and knowledge required to be successful in the role include:
- Professional CIPD qualification or experience in OD/L&D.
- Relevant knowledge, experience and expertise in leadership and management is essential, but some knowledge of change and project management is desirable too.
- Ability to understand organisational and service requirements, to enable you to diagnose the issues and then research and develop viable solutions and options to achieve a good outcome.
- Ability to research and analyse complex data and information so that you can inform key decisions, anticipate problems, make judgements and recommendations and seek approval based on solid insights to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, depending on the requirements and an understanding of co-design and co-production.
- Excellent advanced communication skills, ensuring that you build positive and effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to deliver complex and sometimes contentious issues, in an empowering and respectful way is also essential.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and techniques to present information and subject matter in a clear, concise and accurate way, which promotes understanding, both verbally and in written format.
- Ability to develop sound and robust organisational development and learning and development approaches, which are viable and practical to meet the needs of the business.
