Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Drainage Engineer specializing in Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and minor drainage repairs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative pipeline rehabilitation projects, ensuring the integrity and functionality of drainage systems. You will be instrumental in delivering efficient, high-quality repairs using advanced techniques, contributing to infrastructure longevity and environmental safety. We are looking for an experienced and reliable CIPP Liner & Minor Drainage Repairs Engineer to join our growing drainage team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of drainage repair and rehabilitation works across domestic and commercial properties.
Main responsibilities
- Install CIPP structural liners to defective drainage pipework.
- Prepare and clean drainage lines prior to lining.
- Install patch liners to displaced joints, cracks and localised defects.
- Carry out minor drainage repairs, including:
- Rest bend replacements
- Gully replacements
- Gully repairs
- Pipework repairs
- Minor chamber and manhole repairs
- Connections and alterations
- Carry out high-pressure water jetting and mechanical cleaning where required.
- Assist with CCTV drainage surveys and identify defects requiring remedial works.
- Accurately measure and assess drainage defects before carrying out repairs.
- Work with existing clay, cast iron and PVC drainage systems.
- Ensure all repairs are installed correctly and to a high standard.
- Complete job sheets, photographs and repair documentation.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles.
- Work safely and professionally on customer properties and commercial sites.
Experience required
- Previous drainage experience is essential.
- Experience with CIPP lining and patch lining is highly desirable.
- Experience with drainage repairs, gullies, rest bends and pipework.
- Good understanding of drainage systems and common defects.
- Experience using high-pressure water jetting equipment is advantageous.
- CCTV drainage experience would be an advantage.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
