Post No. POSN005317 - Digital Communications and Content Officer
We're looking for a talented digital professional to lead the development of our corporate website and digital platforms, ensuring they are accessible, user-focused and support the delivery of high-quality public services.
As our digital communications and content officer, you'll be responsible for the ongoing development of the council's website and microsites, using insight, analytics and user-centred design to continually improve the experience for residents, businesses and visitors. You'll also oversee our content management system, lead a small web team and provide expert advice to services across the organisation.
You'll be part of our ambitious communications team, working alongside specialists in media relations, marketing, design, social media and digital content. Together we deliver high-profile campaigns, support corporate priorities, strengthen the council's reputation and help residents access the information and services they need.
We're looking for someone with experience in website management, digital content strategy, accessibility, analytics and continuous improvement. You'll be passionate about creating excellent digital experiences, confident working with stakeholders at all levels and excited by emerging technologies including AI and digital innovation.
